Send me Lord!

We have to remember that a mission trip isn’t about a cute picture with a pretty filter. It’s about assisting in the work that is already occurring bringing in the resources that are needed. And helping out the community that we are working with; these are amazing people with beautiful stories that are so different from our own.Working with these kids, teens and young adults has been a life changer for me. Coming in to a place that’s developing thinking that you’re gonna help out or change something isn’t a wrong or “bad” thought but boy are you in for a rude awakening. Wherever God sends you, you will be the one who is leaving changed forever! He knows it all , even when you are feeling unsure and not good enough. None of us are worthy but I am so grateful that He allows us to have these incredible experiences. There were so many things that I was unsure of before coming to Albania last summer and now I know that that was due to the fact of me not being fully faithful. I didn’t give it all to Him as I should’ve done. You bet that things were surely different this time around. I gave it all to God and I know I will not be let down! Excited is an understatement, when I think about the next four months. It’s the only the word that comes to mind ! This is all for your glory Lord , let us not forget.
