Changes

This summer was a truly incredible experience. That’s probably the simplest way to put it.Prior to going on the trip I thought I was going to become a forensic psychologist. There was no way that anyone could change my mind about that. Until God put this little boy in my life. It ended up changing this whole plan that I had thought up for myself. By the way, now I know much better than to make elaborate plans of how my life will go. I want whatever God wants for me. Before going to Albania I didn’t think that I would enjoy working with kids. But, surprise I love it! It was all thanks to one little boy. He has the sweetest older sister who was participating in our summer VBS program. She was trying to pay attention to the lessons but, her younger brother had other plans. I was able to go outside and distract him this ended up happening everyday after that as well. We played everyday it brought so much joy to me. I couldn’t help but, think that God put him in my life to change my mind about so many things. My career, my thoughts about kids and so many more things. It was a true blessing and I was even able to visit them this December!

Bringing boxes of love to the family.

This December I had the ability to back to Albania for a few weeks. I wanted to make sure to get a better look of the village. I was able to go to most of the homes in Sheqeras, it was an extremely eye opening experience to have been exposed to. I was able to go to their home and bring food and few gifts for the holidays. It definitely isn’t much I’m glad I was able to brighten up their day.
