Fundraising for me personally has been toughest part of the whole process. All the steps leading up to this have seemed like walk in the park. Then God opened the door for me to show me all the opportunities that were ahead. As well as these bonds that I would be creating with those who supported me.I had the incredible opportunity to speak in front of my church and let them know a little bit about myself and my mission. That was truly incredible, I wasn’t able to share it all as it was a limited amount of time. But, after first service I had the sweetest lady come up to me and ask me how she could give. We spoke a little about me and my background and it made me feel so great. As humans we love seeing instant results and they are very rare. I was so thankful for the conversation I was able to have with her. Creating a connection in the church with someone I likely wouldn’t have spoken to before. After our second service I had a similar experience, a family that I speak to every Sunday asked how they could support. I feel so incredibly blessed that the Lord has chosen me for this mission. And I am so thankful for those of you who are choosing to support me on this mission in whichever way you can. Thank you all.
